I loved art even before school, and at school was my favourite subject. After
leaving school I went on to gain a BTEC National Diploma in Art & Design at
Bedford College, and then a BA Hons degree in Fine Art Painting in 1996 at
Loughborough University.
Over the years I have been involved with creating art in many different ways,
its been the common thread through my life. I worked for Davis + Baron, a
leading branding & interior design company in London after graduation. I've also
had a steady flow of privately commissioned pieces ever since; mainly of an
illustrative, figurative nature including murals, invitations and private design
work.
I'm trained in interior decoration and design, and worked on bespoke projects
including work for Bronte Interior Designers. These projects have gone on to
feature in popular interior publications. I wrote columns for various
publications including 'Molesey Messenger' (Surrey), subscribed to by 50,000
residents & businesses, offering practical advice on decorative projects.
I exhibit, and also have been a part time teacher since 2000, teaching adults
various mediums and techniques. I’ve taught Middle and Upper School age ranges
Art, Digital Imaging, Textiles and Graphic Design.
I'm available for privately commissioned work, including tattoo designs and
leather jackets, please contact me for a quotation.
